In the early hours of 12th of may, 1918, the Olympic, on it’s 22nd voyage as a troop carrier, was attacked by a marauding German submarine, U-103 in the English Channel. Olympic turned toward the direction of the sub and proceeded to ram U-103 causing it to sink.
